Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer an initial consultation?
Yes. We offer a confidential initial consultation so you can explain your situation, ask questions, and understand your options before deciding how to proceed. You can book through the enquiry form on this page, by phone on 1800 018 018, or by emailing info@crownattorneys.com.
What areas of law does Crown Attorneys practise?
Our solicitors advise on family law, immigration, property and conveyancing, wills and estates, criminal law, traffic offences, personal injury and compensation, and commercial law. If your matter spans more than one area, we coordinate the right specialist internally so you have a single point of contact. You can see all eight on our practice areas page.
How are your legal fees structured?
Our fees depend on the type and complexity of your matter. Where possible we offer fixed fees for predictable work such as conveyancing, simple wills, and standard visa applications. For ongoing or contested matters we work on an hourly basis with a clear cost agreement up front, so you know how charges accrue before the work begins.
Where are you located, and can I meet with a lawyer remotely?
Our office is at Suite 7.03, Level 7, 85 George Street, Parramatta NSW 2150 — a short walk from Parramatta station. We act for clients across NSW and interstate, and we are happy to conduct consultations by phone or video conference where it suits you better than attending in person.
Is everything I share with my lawyer kept confidential?
Yes. Communications with your lawyer are protected by legal professional privilege and our solicitors' duty of confidentiality. We will not share the details of your matter with anyone outside the firm without your instructions, except where disclosure is required by law.
Can't find an answer to your question?
Every legal matter is different, and these answers are general only. If you'd like advice on your specific circumstances, get in touch — our team will take the time to understand your situation and explain your options in plain English, with no obligation to proceed.
